Human Resource is considered as the core resource for development, which should be developed through various ways and means. Training is the lifeblood of the entire development process, including human resource. From the very inception Shreyas realized the power of training for social change and adopted different methodologies for imparting the development education among the partners. The approach of Shreyas in training is problem oriented, task oriented and trainee oriented. |  |

| During 1980s the department gave importance in imparting trainings on leadership development, Non-formal education, development motivation, social work, tribal development, community health and legal education. | | | | At a later stage Shreyas witnessed for the remarkable performance of its training department; the first training center of Shreyas was being inaugurated on 31st July 1991, which intensified the desire for exploring new spheres of training. The training programmes are focussed for the staff team, peoples leaders and PRI representatives. We are also tuned according to the situation and made use of our expertise. The important topics such as PRA, PLA, PME, GOPP, AI, watershed management and development, animal husbandry, EDP and Decentralized Planning Process of PRIs were covered during this period.Construction of the Research and Training centre as a monument of our 25 years of dedicated service was a historical event in the evolution of Shreyas and the training department itself. |
